Ion Traps for Quantum Technologies

Ion traps are a versatile tool for trapping ions in vacuum. They are used to implement technologies such as quantum computing, quantum simulation, atomic clocks, mass spectrometers and quantum sensors.

    The ion traps consist of a high-purity diamond plate machined by high precision laser cutting and three-dimensional gold coatings on top and side surfaces. The design is usually provided by the customer.
