Diamond Brewster Windows
For polarized light the transmission of optical windows in Brewster geometry approaches 100 % irrespective of the wavelength. This concept is of significant importance for multi-spectral applications such as free electron lasers, multi-wavelength IR lasers or terahertz optical systems.
The Brewster angle of diamond is 67.2°.
Diamond Materials offers UHV compatible windows in Brewster geometry.
