Diamond Watch Components

The hardness, wear resistance and low coefficient of friction make diamond an ideal material for high-quality mechanical watches. Components such as escapement wheels, anvils, pallets, hands, gears, dials have been demonstrated and serve as technical key elements or as decorative features.

Those components are manufactured by the microprocessing of polished diamond disks using high-precision laser cutting or plasma etching in combination with optical lithography.
